# Ticker

The **Ticker** is a one-line bar with the key market figures for a symbol. It sits at the top of the **Basic** and **Advanced** layouts, and you can have **one** on the page.

## What it shows

From left to right:

- the **symbol selector**: pick the pair here. Every widget in the same group follows it, which is how you change symbol in the Basic layout, where widget headers are hidden;
- **Price**: the live price, in the quote currency;
- **Mark Price** (futures);
- **24h Change**;
- **Funding Rate** (futures);
- **24h Volume**;
- **Open Interest** (futures);
- **24 High** and **24 Low**.

When the bar is too narrow for every figure, arrows at its edges scroll it sideways.

## Funding period

The unit next to the funding rate (for example **/ 8h**) is a button. Click it to show the rate per **1h**, **8h**, **24h** or **yearly**; **4h** is also offered on venues that fund every four hours. The venue's own funding interval is highlighted. Your choice applies to every symbol.

## Options

- The Ticker must belong to a [group](../widgets-workspace.md#change-your-layout); it has no **No group** option.
- With headers shown, the group selector and, when the layout is unlocked, the **⋮** menu appear at the right end of the bar.
